We had a wonderful New Year's Eve. Warm atmosphere, excellent menu and very welcoming service.

What can I say, thank you... this is an establishment that has kept its soul. No frills, what's promised is delivered. The welcome, the quality, the quantity, just like at home, are all here... we had the €19.50 set menu: starter, main course, dessert. The starter buffet was simple but high quality, then the suckling pig ham with honey sauce, vegetables, and fries was a delight, the crème brûlée was perfect (except for the tiramisu, a minor point). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The little coffee with its marshmallow was pure bliss. The chef also spoke to us with passion about his dry-aged beef. That will be for next time. I ordered a set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) at this restaurant. The starter was a mixed bag; there wasn't a very wide selection from the buffet, and the starters were all fairly standard. My main course, fish and chips, was good, with nicely cooked fries and the fish itself was quite ordinary. My companion ordered andouille sausage from Vire with onions, which was a bit too strong for his taste. The desserts were decent, nothing fancy.

Great! The plates are well filled. We'll be back.
