Passing through the area, I ate at this restaurant. The service was great, the food was very good with the all-you-can-eat buffet. I recommend it.

A simple, family-run restaurant with rustic, unpretentious cuisine, but also no unpleasant surprises and excellent value for money: an all-you-can-eat country buffet, a generous plate of fried blackbait, and dessert, accompanied by an aperitif on the terrace and wine with the meal, all for €30 per person for a Saturday evening dinner. I didn't bother to do the math and didn't want to keep track of the bill for this birthday meal with my wife, a big fan of fried fish, and my child. So, when I got to the till, I was quite surprised by the price! I must have shown it on my face: While I was thinking he wasn't asking me about the drinks from our last restaurant... the owner's reaction was to assume I thought it was too expensive and to make sure it wasn't a mistake on the bill! A whole different world :-)

A truly local restaurant with delicious food and attentive staff

A lovely Easter weekend with summer-like temperatures; establishments open year-round on the shores of Lake Paladru are rare, so what a pleasant surprise! Despite a slightly gruff welcome from the owner (we had arrived early), everything else was top-notch. The servers were smiling, attentive, and professional. The €27 set menu, with a choice of daily specials, was very good and generous—true home-style cooking. Not a single flaw from the appetizer to the homemade desserts. All accompanied by an excellent Vacqueyras wine. No wait at all, despite a full dining room. We will be back.

And all this at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend it!

Excellent restaurant. We had the €33 set menu: scallop tartare, frog legs with dauphinoise potatoes, and baked Alaska with Chartreuse liqueur. Everything was delicious. The welcome and service were very pleasant. A great find!
