Le Relais de Villefranche sur Villefranche-De-Conflent

Besides the fact that Villefranche is a very beautiful town, I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. It has a good menu, very professional staff, and a very efficient manager, Madame Claude.

My sister and I always eat at Le Relais during our annual visit to Villefranche-de-Conflent, and we're always delighted. The staff are very friendly. The prices are more than reasonable. Thank you so much!

🌟 A wonderful discovery at Le Relais de Villefranche-de-Conflent! 🍽️❤️ Today, for Heritage Days, a friend and I stopped for lunch at Le Relais de Villefranche-de-Conflent. What a pleasant surprise! 😊 We enjoyed it so much that we've already decided to come back. We were welcomed by Christine, an absolutely charming, cheerful, and humorous person. We had a lot of laughs with her, and it was a real pleasure to share this moment in her company. A truly lovely person, who greatly contributes to making the welcome so warm. 🌸 Her husband, Claude, who seems to be one of the owners of this inn, is also extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. 👏 The meal took place in a particularly pleasant and convivial atmosphere. We ate very well, and the value for money was truly remarkable. 😋🍴 Our lunch was unfortunately somewhat disrupted by the passage of several hundred motorcycles, roaring through the village with a thunderous din and emissions rather incompatible with the exceptional character of this magnificent historic village. 🏰🏍️ But this didn't spoil our enjoyment at all! We discovered a wonderful place, both for the quality of the welcome and for the food and atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised, friendly waiters, good atmosphere, excellent value for money and good food, a set menu of starter, main course and dessert for €21. The cheapest restaurant, because be warned, restaurants in the village are not cheap.

The place was packed, the tables were very cramped, and it was quite noisy because it was so full. The food was just okay, although well prepared. The best thing was the service from the waitstaff, who were very friendly and helpful.

We stopped in this town to visit, but seeing the great atmosphere, we decided to find a place to eat. After looking at several places, we decided to go in here. First, we asked if we could bring our dog, and they said of course, no problem. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Without a doubt, if we're ever in the area again, we'll stop for a meal. Everything was great.

Lunch at this restaurant, chosen at random. We managed to get a table and be served "quickly" because we had to catch the Little Yellow Train. The set menu included sangria, boles de picolats (small, round pasta), and crema catalana. The dessert wasn't great, but the boles were quite good. I was able to exchange the sangria for a beer. The waiters were very friendly.

Arriving at a really busy time without a reservation, the staff were very friendly, managed to find us a table, and kept a very reasonable service time considering how busy it was. The portions were perhaps a little small, but everything was very good. We recommend it.

Terrible food! From the freezer to your table with a quick stop in the micro oven. Service is good. Waiters are really nice but the food does not seem to be in France. If you can, just avoid it. The three stars are for the service. Important: dessert are even worst than food!
