Excellent welcome, as always. Very good bistro cuisine with fresh seafood. Our little dog was welcome. We love it. It's always a good time to stop at Le Poisson Rouge after the market in Palais.

I don't understand the bad reviews… the food is excellent, with good, fresh ingredients, and very well prepared! The menu is spot on! The service is very good; we came two nights in a row. In short, we loved it!

We had a wonderful meal! The scallops were incredibly tender, the mushroom risotto was delicious, and the crème brûlée was divine!
We'll definitely be back!

The monkfish was good, but nothing special for €22.50. The crème brûlée, lacking in flavor, was rather small for the price. As for the service, the waitress used a somewhat overly familiar "yeah," and the owner/waiter mainly addressed customers he knew. I wasn't offered coffee at the end of the meal, which would have been appreciated.
In short, a decent meal, but the service and value for money could be improved.

The food is good and the ingredients are decent. A minor drawback is the dining room, where sewer smells are noticeable. It's a shame to have that smell in your nose while enjoying your meal. I don't know if there's a solution, but it does detract from the overall experience.

Always a joy to return to this restaurant out of season. The owner always finds you a table. A friendly, family-run brasserie atmosphere.
Grumpy people and tourists in a hurry need not apply!
