Excellent restaurant in a beautiful setting. You can dine on the terrace overlooking the port of Doëlan. The seasonal cuisine is flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly.

I've been eating at Rive Gauche for several years now, and it's always been excellent. The food is prepared with finesse and without any fuss. The staff is very friendly and competent, explaining the menu in detail, including the daily specials. They even recognized me by name when I made the reservation by phone. Doelan is worth a visit just for Rive Gauche. Thank you very much!

Lunch by the water on the terrace: fresh, excellent fish, perfectly cooked, with small vegetables. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The kouign amann is homemade and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and friendly; nothing to complain about. A must-try.

We visited in June 2022. Back again today, Sunday, June 14, 2026. Always excellent, the waitresses were top-notch (welcome and service). Congratulations to the whole team and of course to the chef.

Very disappointed with my main course: the catch of the day. It lacked taste and flavor… However, the dessert: the finger was incredible.

A little disappointed that the menu didn't match the dishes on the website – no lobster… but it was good.

The food was great, it was just a little noisy because it's not very big and it was full. Otherwise, it was very good.

We had dinner on the terrace last night. The restaurant has a lovely view and allows dogs on the terrace. Everything was perfect for us, and as an added bonus, we discovered fish with a rich brown sauce, which is usually served with meat. The turbot, sea bream, and swordfish were delicious, not to mention the perfect finishing touch: the dessert. It's wonderful to find a place where homemade food is paramount and doesn't succumb to mass production! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic!!! The service was simple and friendly, just the way we like it! Thank you so much for the warm welcome; it was very pleasant. Five stars, but it deserves even more!
