I've been coming to this restaurant since I was very young, even before it was where it is now, when it was on the left in the smallest "place." I came back yesterday after years. The person serving at the takeaway counter wasn't friendly at all. The chicken was good, but nothing like what they used to make; it was much better. The chicken breast was €1.50 for a tiny slice, and it was completely dry and the slices were minuscule. I was disappointed, even though I was very happy and nostalgic to be back after all these years.

The food is good and inexpensive, but the only downside is that you're seated too close to other people you don't know. Sometimes you're at the same table with complete strangers, which I find really annoying.

First time: unfriendly welcome. No smiles. The chicken and meat were okay. However, the rice and fries are best avoided. So, a big disappointment. We won't be back.

I ordered a dish of salted gizzards that were half-raw, and the speculoos tiramisu for dessert was too sweet. The waiter was overly persistent and almost pushy, constantly playing jokes on the children.

Exceptional place. Very generous portions. When you order the dish with picanha, it's not just one piece of meat you're served, but three.

Le Roi du Poulet has become my go-to spot! I've never been disappointed: the quality is always top-notch, the dishes are excellent and prepared with care. Too noisy when you're seated at a table. The staff are a bit stiff; a smile wouldn't hurt anyone. And I remind you that credit cards are accepted starting from one euro. You're doing what Chinese tobacco shops do with a minimum of 15 euros.

I came here with my wife and frankly, what a pleasant surprise! We opted for the "mixed" menu at only €16 per person, and it was an absolute delight. The portion was incredibly generous: flavorful paprika rice, a small salad with dressing, fries, two chicken breasts, and pork ribs with onions. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can immediately taste the freshness of the ingredients. But beyond the food, it's the atmosphere that makes all the difference. The staff is truly friendly and incredibly welcoming. As soon as you walk through the door of this Portuguese restaurant, you feel right at home. It's simple, efficient, and offers that genuine human warmth that's so rare these days. In short, authentic cuisine made with heart. We'll definitely be back!
