Given the negative reviews, we hesitated to eat at this restaurant. In the end, we weren't disappointed. The crepes were very good. The service and welcome were impeccable. 👍 I highly recommend the "ORANGERAIE" dessert crepe, a real treat for the taste buds 😋

We were looking for a restaurant with a simple menu in Saint-Mandrier, and we'd never stopped at Le Roy d'Ys before, thinking it was just a crêperie, but no! The menu is surprising; we weren't expecting to find anything other than crêpes. There are salads, which are good, meat dishes, exotic dishes… A well-stocked menu with simple dishes. We had lunch on the terrace overlooking the port, in a relaxed atmosphere, but with a warm welcome. We now have our go-to spot for a simple lunch in Saint-Mandrier.

While passing through, we were able to get a table even though the restaurant was quite full. Good value for money. Fresh and generous salad. Friendly and welcoming staff.

28/09/2024: A perfect welcome! A restaurant that doesn't look like much but in which you feel good! The waitresses are adorable, helpful, and always have a kind word. The dishes were very good, plentiful and fresh. The desserts are killer, I think they are homemade! Well done to you!
20/09/2024: We had the opportunity to dine there twice, and both experiences were excellent! A treat! The salads (fresh and Caesar) are hearty and very tasty, the burgers are second to none! Desserts what can I say? A delight! The unstructured lemon tart was a great success! I recommend. The waitresses are wonderful, fast, smiling, welcoming… This restaurant remains a very good memory of our vacation in Saint Mandrier. We felt at home there and even better! Don’t hesitate, what’s more, the prices are really affordable and the view of the port is extra!

10/09/2024: We were promised great cuisine. Certainly the dishes are good but nothing extravagant for the price. Pleasant servers. A slightly bland spritz cocktail. For a gourmet style restaurant, I found better. Yes the setting is pretty but that's not everything. Still worth trying.
