A wonderful discovery! My mother, my friend, and I came for dinner and had a truly excellent time. The setting is lovely, the welcome warm, and the service impeccable from start to finish. The menu is extensive, with plenty of choices, and above all, everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The dishes were well-prepared, generous, and flavorful. A fantastic place where you eat well and feel comfortable. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend it. 👌😊

It was disappointing; the presentation of the main courses was poor, and the waitress was impatient. A bit pricey for what it was.

Aside from the steak, there wasn't much in the burger. The profiteroles for dessert were delicious.

A calm and elegant place, not a single flaw here. From the understated and refined decor, to the impeccable service, to the beautifully presented dishes, and the fragrant, delicate, and exquisitely executed flavors. A truly timeless experience, bravo indeed...

Disappointing family meal! The prices seemed high considering the quality of the food and service. At this price point, one would at least expect the meat to be cooked properly. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, and the ribeye steak we ordered medium-rare was actually rare and particularly tough. Finally, we would have appreciated a warmer welcome. The service seemed rather unfriendly and sometimes even a bit cold.

Excellent evening and excellent team! We had a wonderful time at Le Saint Ex. Congratulations to the whole team despite the intense heat, and a big thank you to the waitress for her professionalism and lovely smile. Thank you also for your kind gesture towards our 16th wedding anniversary; we were very touched. Many thanks again to you all. Sincerely, Romain

L'OREE DU BOIS

07/09/2026: One of the restaurants I miss the most since moving to the South of France! L’Orée du Bois is everything I love in a restaurant: elegance, refinement, conviviality, and above all, truly delicious food! The cuisine is sophisticated, generous, made with real ingredients, and the prices are fair considering the quality you find on your plate. It just goes to show that you can offer beautiful, refined cuisine without charging exorbitant prices! Just thinking about it makes me hesitate… your foie gras or your avocado-crab religieuse? 🤤 Mmm… Now that’s real food, just the way I like it! And it’s not just the food. The owners are incredibly kind. The chef always takes the time to come out of the kitchen to greet the customers, chat, and make sure everything went well. And when Madame comes to take our order, she always has a kind word, a smile, a thoughtful touch that makes us feel truly welcome. That's what makes all the difference: excellent food served by people who are genuinely kind, approachable, and passionate about their work. Since moving to the South of France, this is definitely one of the places I miss the most. I hope to have the chance to pop in and say hello again during a future visit… and especially to dine at your table again! ❤️ Don't change a thing. You're one of those restaurants that you remember fondly, even long afterward.
19/07/2026: Delicious food, served in a cool, cool spot near the forest. One small complaint: the dessert was too sweet for me.
