I went for lunch with my husband at Brasserie l'Express. I wasn't particularly hungry, and they graciously agreed to serve me just a side dish. That's quite rare and deserves to be highlighted. The daily special also looked very appetizing. Thank you again for your very warm welcome.

A bit disappointed. The steak tartare wasn't prepared, so the proportions/mixing weren't easy. And above all, the fries were way too salty. Needs improvement! On the other hand, the service was friendly and the products were fresh and homemade.

Excellent experience at Express in Meythet! The starters were delicious: burrata, tartare, and grilled eggplant—everything was perfectly prepared. The homemade fries were a real treat, and the pavlova for dessert was simply incredible. Special mention also goes to the warm and attentive welcome and service. We will gladly return!

18/05/2026: A wonderful rediscovery! We were looking for a restaurant open on a Sunday at lunchtime, which is quite rare in Meythet, and what a pleasant surprise to find this establishment open! We hadn't been back for years, and the exceptionally warm team gave us a truly impeccable welcome. As for the food, we were delighted: the dishes were of excellent quality, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We particularly enjoyed a foie gras that was absolutely delicious. The service was simply impeccable, and to top it all off, the prices are quite reasonable, perfectly reflecting the quality of the experience. A flawless experience! Thank you to the entire team, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
17/05/2026: Excellent cuisine with ever-increasing inventiveness! Returned in May, still just as good and a varied menu; a delight!

12/06/2026: Since the change of ownership, which happened quietly, the cream puffs that made the bakery famous are no longer available. Several other personal favorites, including the cinnamon roll, have also disappeared. I'm disappointed with the new flans, which have a floury texture, and the whole thing seems mass-produced.
