Le Saint Michel sur Domjean

Lovely, friendly local restaurant with a very reasonable formula lunch menu. Authentic french food and they made a point of using local produce. Not open every day, and seems popular with the locals, so call to reserve a table. We had lunch there after a walk along the Vire river at La Chapelle Sur Vire.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Although the staff was busy preparing for a private party and no tables were available, the owner offered to prepare duck legs for us to take away at a set time. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. It's located right across from a great campsite.
