Le Saint Nicolas sur Gravigny

I visited in December for the holidays and was a little disappointed with the food, which wasn't really up to par. The staff was very friendly, but the service was a bit slow. A slight disappointment for me.

Impeccable food and service. We ordered six tasting menus and no one was disappointed. We will be back.

Can you judge a restaurant based on just one visit? Certainly not, but it was touted to me as a gourmet restaurant, well, no. The decor was evident in the table setting, paper napkins, and price tags (I'll be recognized there!)... The set menu prices aren't excessive, and the dishes have the originality of a good restaurant. If the menu is truly gourmet, it would be in the portion sizes, at least for the set menus I chose, but as I said at the beginning... I'll come back in the warmer months for the back terrace; it looked lovely with the little pond and everything! P.S.: Not bothered by neighbors at the other tables, which is great!

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The service was attentive, professional, and always friendly. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the expertise and passion in the kitchen. A true pleasure from beginning to end; we will definitely be back!

A very pretty setting, and the meal was thoroughly enjoyed by both children and adults. It was a bit rushed for our taste, as we like to take our time. We understand that there weren't many people and that they wanted to get home, but we can't blame that. From aperitif to dessert, everything was served in one sitting without any breaks for digestion. A simple recommendation: Don't go with your children… the manager doesn't like children. No matter how well-behaved, polite, or polite your child is… she always has something to say… (be very careful with the coloring, the plant that shouldn't be touched, even though she didn't touch it, the way she looks when she walks near the child, etc.). It's a real shame… Her waiter, however, was very friendly and pleasant, especially considering he had just started his job.

Family meal on All Saints' Day. Warm welcome and efficient service. As for the food: the fish and skate wing roulade with fresh herbs and Norwegian sauce was perfectly executed, fragrant, and very generous. The chef's special offered a wide variety of vegetables with salmon and haddock: a hearty, balanced, and flavorful dish. A superb finale with the plum confit cheesecake, meltingly soft and just the right amount of tart. The portions are generous, the food delicious, and the variety of options is a delight. I highly recommend Restaurant Saint-Nicolas to all customers looking for a reliable and gourmet restaurant. We will definitely be back.

This lunchtime, we had a wonderful time as a family for Grandma's 95th birthday. Generous plates, a thoughtful menu. A thoughtful touch for our little nephew and especially for me who has health problems with many allergies. The chef adapted and I was able to eat to my heart's content like everyone else, which is rarely the case in other places. Thank you very much to him. And thank you for this great, smiling service.
