We had a great time at San Marino restaurant. The service was fast and the staff were very polite. The dishes were tasty and made with fresh ingredients. A pleasant and peaceful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner.

We had a wonderful time last night at the San Marino restaurant in Cagnes-sur-Mer, with my wife, my two daughters, and some friends. A truly delightful evening and a real gem! The owners are welcoming and warm; you immediately feel at ease. The menu offers a lovely array of specialties, including Moroccan, French, and Italian cuisine. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and generous; you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise behind each dish. It was hard to choose because everything was so good! The staff is also very pleasant, smiling, and attentive, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is convivial and perfect for a dinner with family and friends. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat that combines several cuisines in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Nice, but €42 for the royal couscous: a very steep bill. Last night, I was sitting at the brasserie next door, having a drink. Turning around, I noticed the menu board for the restaurant next door. Seeing the average prices listed, I figured the couscous would be in the usual price range (around €22-€25) and decided to go in and eat. My wife joined me; she ordered a pastilla (small and dry), and I opted for the royal couscous. My mistake was clearly not asking for the menu with the price list before ordering: I probably could have avoided this "accident." The disappointment came when the bill arrived: €42 for the royal couscous. For a piece of ground beef, a chicken leg, and a merguez sausage, it's extremely expensive. The dish was good, but nothing special. When the food is excellent, the bill is easily forgiven, but here, you really get the unpleasant feeling of paying a lot for a very ordinary experience. Especially since the terrace setting is nothing special: the view is initially of passersby and parked/driving cars before you even glimpse the sea in the distance. It's a shame, because the staff are really friendly, but at that price for what was on the plate, I definitely felt like a tourist just passing through.

The staff were pleasant, welcoming, smiling, and had a good sense of humor; we left pleasantly surprised. Fair value for money.

A fantastic evening, the service was superb, we had a wonderful meal and lots of laughs. An experience to be had at least once in a lifetime!
