Le Shimla sur Villeurbanne

I discovered this restaurant last night and what a nice surprise from start to finish.... As an aperitif I had a rose lacci....(copper shaped glass I like to look at what I drink...it's just that I was expecting a drink like on the menu) a starter based on samosa with meat to die for!!!!and the main course is a dish of lamb and d Eggplant is an explosion of flavors with perfectly tender lamb meat!!! With an accompaniment of basmati rice and the famous cheese naan.... I would have liked some background music from Pakistan.... It would have cut out the background noise of the other customers and I would have really liked a traditional decoration. measure of the cuisine.... but you can't have everything... but I recommend this restaurant a thousand times!!!! Great discovery in the center of the Charpennes. Very good value for money. The dishes are delicious and the setting is nice. I highly recommend going there!!

Several times I come to Shimla and never disappointed! The team is great, always smiling, it’s a pleasure and the food is excellent! I recommend without hesitation

Very good Indian restaurant, the menus are well thought out, at an affordable price and the dishes are copious. The place is very nicely decorated and we are well received. The service is also very well paced, having gone there at lunchtime and in the evening, the wait is neither too long nor too short, it's perfect. A musical background in the theme could perhaps add something. I highly recommend 😌

Very nice place, quite pretty, service is great, I ordered a cheese naan, a chicken madrass and a lassis a la lacking, it was tasty and the restaurant seemed clean to me. I validate with validation!

Great but be warned: you have to love Indian food

I took the Tasting Menu for €18 which includes 2 meat samosas, a tandoori chicken dish with rice and a cheese nan. It was pretty good, nothing more to say, nothing extraordinary but for the price the quantity and quality were there.

Excellent cuisine. Very very good. Top notch service.
