Le Smile sur Avon

We are an English speaking couple visiting France from Australia. It was Whit Monday so most restaurants were closed. Le Smile was open and though we arrived quite early the staff were welcoming. We ate in their open courtyard and enjoyed cocktails and our evening meal with wine. The waiter was friendly, helpful and patient. We enjoyed the food and drinks and the price was reasonable.

This was my first time at this establishment. Due to the weather, I couldn't eat on the terrace as I had hoped. The welcome was very warm, although the dining room was a bit cramped, with not much space between the tables. The food was good, simple, and well-presented. The service was quite quick, and the waiter was attentive, very kind, and friendly. The price was reasonable.

A lovely little brasserie, perfect for sunny days, with an indoor terrace. The staff are very professional and welcoming, and the food is fresh, delicious, and excellent value for money – go without hesitation!

The restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people indoors (probably more on the back terrace, but I didn't go there). The napkins are paper. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious! The menus are updated regularly and the prices are clearly displayed.

Served by the ever-smiling owner, our table of 14 left this brasserie with smiles on our faces, full stomachs, and delighted taste buds. The selection was extensive, and the meat was of excellent quality. Thank you for this feast, which left us with only one desire: to return!

We enjoyed a simple lunch at this restaurant. The service was pleasant and efficient. The decor is quite basic.

This is a truly remarkable and consistently delicious spot: a bistro-style restaurant with a varied menu offering delightful home-style cooking. Everything is excellent, from appetizers to desserts, and the prices remain very reasonable. Regulars come often and always enjoy their meals. There's nothing to criticize, apart from the warm atmosphere and highly professional service. That's a rare find.

Great menu, very good. Discovered by chance through the Ibis hotel. We came for two evenings.

The food is excellent, and many things are homemade, which shows. Staying at the hotel across the street, our party of seven ate there two nights in a row and thoroughly enjoyed the meal for a reasonable price.
