Warm welcome, beautiful dining room decor and impeccable regional cuisine.

A family outing (7 people) on a Saturday at lunchtime. A very warm welcome. The setting is lovely, with a well-respected local theme: vineyards, wood, and stone. The cuisine was generous and delicious. The technical skill was evident on the plate. There was a wide selection of wines on the menu. I decided to turn the potential downside of this meal into a strength: there was indeed a rather long wait between the starter and the main course (especially with a 6-year-old present). After I mentioned this slight delay, the waitress kindly explained that they were understaffed, as there were only two of them (herself and the chef). At the end of the meal, I reflected on the fact that the whole family had thoroughly enjoyed their meal, with no technical errors, in a full dining room. I thought to myself that the service was truly outstanding, considering the limited staff for these two young people (the waitress and the chef). We received repeated apologies at the time of payment, along with a suggestion for a small gesture, which we declined given our satisfaction. We would like to return and we will.

Had a great meal with good service

Exquisite dishes, a warm welcome, a true delight

Delighted with this discovery. Cozy atmosphere. Very pleasant dining room with magnificent decor enhanced by the indoor vineyard. Impeccable service. Delicious menu and dishes, with the chef coming to greet the guests at the end of their meal. We will gladly return.

The welcome was very friendly, and I had a very good rapport with Mr. Favre. The setting and decor are superb. The waitress is charming and very professional. However, I'm a little disappointed by this restaurant after traveling so far. The eggs meurette were good, but I expected something different in terms of flavor, especially since it was advertised as being prepared with Irancy ratafia! The flank steak I ate was much too overcooked, even though I asked for it rare; I should have specified "very blue." The mushroom sauce was nothing special. As for the kidneys my wife ordered, the seven small pieces (not cooked enough for her taste) were a bit undercooked. It would be good to ask how you'd like them cooked beforehand. Adding so much bacon mainly ruins the flavor. The baby potatoes would have been better served in a small casserole dish on the side, but it's true that it would have seemed like there wasn't much in the dish. The Fontainebleau pear was good, but I had to search for the hibiscus flavor. The price of the carafe of filtered water was also a surprise: €2.50! In short, a restaurant where everything is beautiful and pleasant, in terms of decor and service, but where the value for money is not satisfactory. When you pay this kind of bill, you expect a bit more quality! Needs improvement.
