We just spent the weekend in Marseille and discovered this restaurant, "Le Souk," located on the Old Port. We loved it! The service was perfect, and the waitress was attentive and very friendly. Thank you. We'll definitely be back to eat there next time we're in Marseille! 😃

We went on our anniversary because we have some Moroccan friends, and whenever they cook, everything is delicious. In this restaurant, you feel like you're in a friend's dining room: incredibly tasty and flavorful food, incredibly friendly yet discreet service, a beautiful space and decor... In short, I'm surprised there are even a few negative reviews because I'm very particular about food and ambiance, and this restaurant, which we visited again today, is fantastic. They also didn't offer vegan options for our son, which isn't always well-received in France. If you're going to Marseille, for its location and quality, this is the restaurant for you.

The service was incredibly fast, which was much appreciated. The welcome was pleasant and professional; we immediately felt at ease. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor: we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. Overall, a very positive experience; it's definitely a place I recommend 100% and where I will gladly return.

Two delicious royal couscous dishes, with an extra portion of semolina available without any problem. The sheltered terrace was decent with a superb view. The interior of the establishment is as splendid as ever. We returned after more than two years (that's what tourists are like!) and were very slightly disappointed compared to our previous culinary experiences, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. But we will definitely be back!

28/06/2026: There's a certain air of authenticity in this shop, a spirit that has endured for decades. My grandparents loved this shop where they bought chocolate and coffee. The service and atmosphere haven't changed (nor has the consistently warm welcome). I've held this shop dear to my heart since I was 7 years old, and, in my eyes, it has retained its old-world charm; it's reassuring and comforting to see this institution continue. The young woman who greeted my partner and me on Saturday morning, June 27th, was professional and very pleasant, and you could feel the sincerity and genuineness in her smile, in her willingness and pleasure in helping customers. A big thank you to her. Thank you also to everyone who keeps this establishment, renowned for its coffee and chocolate, alive and thriving.
12/06/2026: A very welcoming family-run chocolate shop. The service is always excellent. I've been buying my chocolates there for holidays and special occasions for several years now, and I've never been disappointed. A special mention for the yuzu chocolate: excellent and refined!

14/08/2026: I went there at lunchtime and wanted to have a sandwich. The lady was so friendly and welcoming; she showed me her menu and explained everything in detail. I chose an absolutely delicious sandwich, which she made fresh for me. When I sat down outside at a small table in the sun, she offered me a shady spot belonging to the restaurant next door. That was incredibly kind, and I've rarely experienced such wonderful and attentive service. Thank you so much!
