Le Stromboli sur Saint-Etienne

I've known Stromboli for about ten years now; the last time I ate there was about ten years ago. My partner and I went back last Saturday, and what a surprise it was! The pizzas are still good, no doubt about it. However, the hygiene is absolutely deplorable. We arrived at 7 pm, practically when the restaurant opened, and the kitchen floor was absolutely disgusting, covered in footprints and food scraps. I went to the restroom after my meal; if I had known, I would have gone earlier. I would have turned right around and wouldn't have even eaten there. The toilets are absolutely filthy; there are patches of mold above the toilet seat. The floor is disgusting. There's a broken hand dryer sitting directly on the floor, which hasn't been cleaned for at least six months. The stone sink might look nice, but it's also moldy, and there are no paper towels or hand dryers. Stromboli has completely lost its reputation; it's become a disaster. I'll never eat there again. I'm still giving it an overall rating of 3 stars because the pizzas are still relatively good, but there's a lot of room for improvement.

I received half of my order, the pizzas, but not the drinks.

Very good pizzas with the option to choose the size, excellent pasta, and very good desserts. We were there on a busy day, so the service was a little slow. However, we were a bit cold. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. I recommend it.

A warm welcome, delicious food, pleasant service, and reasonable prices. Nothing to complain about, a very good place 😊

It lacks a touch of Italian music. The toilets leave something to be desired.

Excellent pizza, impeccable service

Excellent food and very good service! I recommend the pizzas, the pasta, or the Milanese veal cutlet, which is enormous!

We had dinner as a family during our visit to Saint-Étienne. We received a warm welcome, even without a reservation. The service was quick despite the restaurant being full. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was quiet. The restrooms were spotless, which was very pleasant. The only slight drawback was the restaurant's decor.
