A wonderful discovery! It was my first time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; everything was truly delicious. The dishes were flavorful and made us want to return. The only slight downside was the rather slow service.

For years we've been coming to the Taj Mahal every time we're in Bordeaux. The place is beautifully decorated in Indian colors, the welcome has been the same for years, and the food is excellent. If you want to eat good Indian food in Bordeaux, this is the place to go.

Despite a busy schedule and a small staff, the manager and his colleague provided fast, impeccable, and remarkably courteous service. I highly recommend this establishment.
03/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal. The set menus were great value for money. For two menus (including one starter, one dessert, two naans, two main courses with rice, and two cocktails), we paid less than 60 euros. The service was excellent. The chicken tikka masala was superb. Just a word of advice: come on an empty stomach because the portions are very generous!
