My husband and I only tried the restaurant; the location is truly magnificent and peaceful, nestled among the trees. The welcome was fantastic, the servers were kind, quick, and efficient. The meal was absolutely amazing; everything was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, with each dish having a little touch of originality (basil sorbet for my starter, almond cream for my fish, for example).
Centrally located in the Ardèche department, this hotel avoids the tourist traps of the southern part of the department while also allowing guests to enjoy the Ardèche mountains, so beloved by Jacques Ferrat, as well as nearby attractions (Chauvet Cave, Pont d'Arc, etc.). This traditional hotel is nestled in nature. It is well-maintained and impeccably clean. The discreet and efficient management and staff go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay... not to mention the renowned ice cream made by the owner. This type of establishment does credit to its profession and its region.
We stayed two nights, and it was an excellent experience!
This hotel has a slightly old-fashioned feel that's not unpleasant.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
And the restaurant is perfect; both meals were delicious, as was breakfast, with excellent pastries!
For hikers, there are some great trails nearby.
A good, pleasant restaurant serving Italian dishes, especially excellent ice cream, offering great value for money with fresh ingredients. The rooms are simple but comfortable. An ideal location as a starting point for hiking, cycling, or motorcycling.
We tried the restaurant; it was excellent, refined, and very good. We arrived late with children and hadn't made a reservation, but they still accommodated us. I highly recommend it! 👍
