Le Valgo sur La Buisse

A real gem that you absolutely must try in the area! We ordered the set menu and every dish was a delight, from the pea and shrimp mousse (a refreshing treat) to the perfectly browned crayfish ravioli and the mango sundae. Everything is homemade and the service is very friendly. We were lucky enough to eat on the lovely terrace. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

I recently tried Le Valgo restaurant and had a great time, which justifies my 4-star rating. The service was generally very pleasant, with an attentive and professional team. As for the food, the dishes are simple yet effective, well-executed, and quite generous. The value for money is definitely there, which is always appreciated. However, we did experience a slight hiccup with the wait, which was a little longer than expected. That said, it didn't spoil the experience, and I don't hold it against them. I would gladly return to confirm this positive impression.

What a superb place! We absolutely loved this warm and authentic restaurant. Everything is homemade, including the Hautes-Alpes specialties like ravioli and tourtons, and it shows. There's a real passion for good ingredients and simple yet traditional cuisine that's efficient, generous, and delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable; it's excellent value for money. The desserts are fantastic. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is really lovely. The three interior rooms are beautiful and typical, but we were already thinking about coming back in the summer for the beautiful terrace. The decor evokes the Valgaudemar valley, which we love! Canine bonus: our dog was welcomed with kindness. In short, Valgo is a truly great place and we'll be back!
