My wife and I stopped by for lunch on a weekday. The €20.50 set menu was excellent; the portions were generous and the food was delicious. There was a good selection, and everything was homemade. A great find and a place to remember in Pont-l'Évêque; we'll gladly return.

As someone who never leaves reviews, I sincerely wanted to share my experience with this restaurant.
I've been several times now and I really appreciate the atmosphere, the very pleasant and smiling waitresses, and the truly excellent food. The prices are very reasonable, and you always leave very satisfied.

An excellent choice for a traditional restaurant in a typical Normandy setting. We were there on Sunday at lunchtime and opted for the €20.50 set menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There was a good selection of excellent Norman regional dishes, the portions were generous, the service was impeccable, and the value for money was unbeatable. The owners are kind and welcoming. I highly recommend booking, especially for weekends, as it's often fully booked (we noticed many people had to turn people away). If you're looking for authentic and delicious cuisine, then look no further than Le Vaucelles – take it from a Cherbourg native!

Four of us arrived this lunchtime and were very pleasantly surprised by this small, unassuming restaurant, which serves varied, good, and inexpensive dishes (starter, main course, and dessert menu for €20.50). The waitresses are lovely. We had a great time!
