Stay here for a genuine Rouen French experience. It is an old historic building, with charming courtyard. It is wonderfully quirky. Rooms small and old but that is part of the charm. If you like anonymous chain hotels this may not be for you. But if you enjoy humanity in all its variety and splendour then enjoy here. The location in Rouen is perfect right in the heart of the old city, all major sights in easy reach. Some great restaurants close by.

The room was probably the smallest, but you always make it work. The holder for the shower head was almost broken off, but at least it lasted our stay. We experienced that the room was not washed and thus towels were not changed 2/5 days. Nevertheless, it is a very cozy hotel which is very centrally located in the city and which has a lovely and old feel about it. All in all I had a nice stay.

Characteristic structure in a central position. Parking is available at the courthouse. Breakfast is served with typical products. I would recommend greater maintenance and attention to detail.

Très belle surprise, entrée par un porche qui mène à un petit jardin arboré avec quelques tables pour les journées ensoleillées. Restaurant cosy, dans le style anglais. Accueil très sympathique : le service est agréable, le menu très abordable (20 euros, entrée, plat, dessert) cuisiné maison. Allez-y, vous ne regretterez pas.

We didn't stay there, just had tea with an absolutely delicious orange cake. The place is really well located, beautiful, nicely decorated, the welcome is really warm and friendly. During our next stay in Rouen we will most certainly stay there 😉

Le Bistroquet chez Cedric

25/08/2024: De bonnes idées comme le burger sarrasin et donc sans gluten ! Top ! Et surtout rare sur Rouen :) après gustativement cela pourrait être un peu plus travaillé notamment les condiments et la sauce. Les frites sont maison = top ! Mais elles manquent un peu de cuisson. Intérieur du restaurant = fait assez peur en raison du manque d’entretien (poussières un peu partout, saleté sur les placards, toilettes d’un autre temps). Du potentiel par les idées et la carte mais on reste un peu sur notre faim 😋

24/09/2024: Very good, as always. Special mention for the non-alcoholic cocktail menu. Finally a restaurant that offers a range of real cocktails (it's amazing), a change from the simple mixtures of fruit juices or the Perr...rondelle offered everywhere.
24/09/2024: As a tourist guide, I have always enjoyed coming with my German-speaking clients. The dishes are inventive and tasty and please my customers and I also enjoy them. Compliments to the chef!
