Le Vieux Vallon sur Vallon-Pont-D'Arc

One of my favourite campsites I've ever stayed at...and I stayed at a lot of them! The people at the reception were super friendly, the fresh baguette and pastries in the morning were delicious and the facilities were kept clean. The campsite is in a great location, close to the town and all the trails. Will definitely come back!

Friendly and pleasant. Unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside.

We stayed in a 6.65 m motorhome. The location and the service were great. It has cabins and a few RV spots, so I recommend calling ahead. It has a sunbathing area and a pool. And they offer drinks and pastries right at reception. From the campsite, we took a really cool route published on Wikiloc, and less than 2 km away, you'll reach the village, following a path that leads from the campsite to the right.

We were in pitch 8, with a breathtakingly beautiful view of a rugged rock formation in the Ardèche gorge, which never got old. The pitch was shaded all day, which was very pleasant for the tent. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful; we had a wonderful time! The sanitary facilities are basic but perfectly adequate for us. There's also an impressive hiking trail that runs past the campsite to the Pont d'Arc, definitely recommended for the sporty types :) We would definitely return!

The campsite is a superb place, very quiet and clean. We spent a short week in a tent and it was great. The region offers wonderful walks and viewpoints. Special mention to the owners/employees who were extremely kind and very welcoming. We highly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a friendly and relaxing place.
