18/08/2026: Beautiful nature reserve! You shouldn't be afraid of heights... I even cycled the Gorges once from Le Gard. Tough (steep slopes) but majestic. In the high season, however, it gets very crowded with tourists who view it more as an amusement park than a nature reserve. A little further south lies the Gard Cévennes, much quieter!!
13/08/2026: A magnificent place, with incredible natural surroundings.
Unfortunately, the first thing you'll hear every morning, from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM, is the ultralight aircraft and small planes flying over the Pont d'Arc. Their truly unpleasant drone clearly spoils the experience and completely detracts from this exceptional location.
How can a handful of people be allowed to ruin the enjoyment of thousands of tourists and locals?
I sincerely believe that the town of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and the nature reserve should clearly prohibit this type of activity over this site.

Stopping at Le Petit Jardin during a motorcycle road trip in the Ardèche was a wonderful surprise.
The menu is simple and effective, a guarantee of freshness and quality: every dish was simply excellent!
The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the staff provides very friendly and welcoming service.
A truly great find in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc; you can go without hesitation!

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful weekend in the Ardèche cabin.
Everything is well-designed, and the welcome was simply excellent. A huge thank you to Jean-Baptiste and Sylvie, who were exceptionally kind. We will definitely return and recommend the campsite to our friends and family. It's very well located, well-equipped, close to Vallon, and the pool is fantastic 👍🏼
13/06/2026: A last-minute, impromptu weekend getaway meant finding a campsite in a hurry, but in June I wasn't too worried and trusted the reviews, and what a surprise! A fantastic discovery: a small, friendly campsite with terraced grounds, which eliminates the feeling of overcrowding.
We were in a tent; the pitches were spacious and shaded, which is a real plus in the Ardèche sun. And even if you get too hot, the swimming pool is there to cool you off! Everything is extremely well-maintained; the sanitary facilities are spotless, both the toilets and showers. In short, I highly recommend this campsite, and the icing on the cake is Sylvie—she's the epitome of genuine kindness; you can't help but love her. "Thank you, Sylvie, for the warm welcome and your kindness throughout our very short stay. We will definitely be back!"

17/07/2026: Arriving unexpectedly (we'd been wanting to try this place for a while), just the two of us without a reservation, the charming staff managed to seat us nonetheless. The explanations were clear, and we were immediately tempted by the menu. The service was pleasant, and the wait was very reasonable. The dishes were hot, flavorful, and prepared on-site with quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the prices were quite fair.
The airy terrace was very pleasant, even in the heat.
We will definitely be back!

06/08/2026: Our go-to spot for a good meal when we're in the area… this is the fourth year in a row that we've looked forward to discovering the menu at this restaurant during our holidays. Everything is perfect: the setting, the food, the atmosphere. Thank you for these wonderful moments.
05/08/2026: Very disappointed.
I ordered a ribeye steak that was shockingly thin. At this price point, you expect quality meat and a decent portion, not a ribeye that looks more like a sirloin steak.
The food is very home-style, which isn't a problem in itself. However, the prices are clearly disproportionate to what's served.
The worst part was the checkout. The bill was €74, I paid €80, and the owner simply replied, "I don't have the change." No apology, no offer, as if it were up to the customer to adjust. It's not the €6 that bothers me, but this way of doing things, which is completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Between mediocre food sold at exorbitant prices and such an unfriendly welcome at the checkout, I see no reason to go back.
The only positive point was the friendly waiters.

02/06/2026: We were there at the beginning of June, which is the off-season, and even then you're lucky to get a table. It's best to call and reserve! The food is rustic, cooked over a charcoal grill, which I think is fantastic! The staff is attentive and very friendly!

The Logis Hôtel le Clos Charmant was a very pleasant surprise. The welcome was warm and attentive – exactly what you want after a long day of travel.
The room was compact, but tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a typical French selection with fresh delicacies – a perfect start to the day.
The absolute highlight was the three-course dinner: When we mentioned that we aren't big fans of shellfish, the menu was promptly adapted for us – a gesture that truly impressed us. There was a delicate fish pâté as a starter, a tender chicken dish as a main course, and a creamy panna cotta for dessert. Accompanied by an excellent bottle of rosé – simply perfect.
Communication in English was no problem, and we even picked up a few French words. 😊 A charming hotel that will stay with us – we'll definitely be back!
