Very warm welcome, very good dishes, dessert trolley, a real pleasure to find a restaurant like that, reasonable price and a real good time.

Restaurant le Vivarais a great welcome from the owner of the place to the two servers. The choice of products, refined cuisine all in a cozy atmosphere. We had a very pleasant time with the family, both for the taste buds and the pleasure of the eyes for the presentation of our plates.
Thank you to the Vivarais restaurant for this moment.

For a lunch, beautiful welcoming experiences by our host and taste by the dishes offered.
If we had to have a reason to come and have lunch in this popular restaurant, we had plenty of them, and we had plenty of anticipation for the “birthdays to come” 🥳
SO ?
Shhhh, it begins:
Oh, ah!
A small downside for me is the Coriander for this starter, it seems that there is only one alternative: “you like it or you don’t like it”.
I choose the second.
But no matter, through a prestidigious (almost magical) exchange I received the second entry:
- a nice thick slice composed of Foie Gras with Artichokes and Walnuts -
A mixture, a priori, curious but whose marriage is said to be "of the century"!
The rest delights all three of us, Cod fillet, Zander fillet, Sliced beef with sauce - sorry for the lack of precision in the names of the dishes -
It's like a sort of amnesia for me when I discover the "Associations, titles and dishes", first of all this farandole of carefully chosen words and their consecrated plates.
And that's where, patatras, everything mixes and finally leaves plenty of room for my impatient taste buds, enticed by so many promises.
Memory, taste buds? ...
Taste buds, memory? ...
Both in the head but not on the same level!
No wonder then.
Cheese Cart
I decided on an assortment of “goat” and I was not disappointed.
Then a “pre dessert”…
Mignardises that are “cute” while waiting to be chosen...
And ?
A Dessert Cart, I removed the word "good" in front, which seemed superfluous to me and not up to the feeling I had when looking at the different cakes, the creams, the fruits and, my favorite dessert, but THE dessert that I love, the floating island, and this one, with pistachio!
We were not "Grands Crus Classés" and not being a sommelier, I will spare you the details of the "Grands Verres".
A conclusion :
This restaurant really appeals to a lot of different people, just reading the comments and I'm adding us to the list.
For us the score is 9.5/10.
This rating which opens up a new perspective for us, that of coming back to give a 10/10.
