Le Vol au Vent sur Chambray

We were just 3 people one evening in July. Sad atmosphere, the boss told us "they are all gone". Or, probably in another establishment where they will be received in a more pleasant way. Although the meal was excellent, the owner's fatigue or weariness meant that we would not return there.

We knew Vol au Vent for its excellent traditional homemade cuisine and we chose it to celebrate our son's 30th birthday, with very good Burgundy wines. A special request for the cake was a superb surprise: a number cake with strawberries and red fruits, extraordinary! Our son was delighted as were our 11 guests, thank you again for this excellent meal and your welcome. We will come back for sure.

A must-have! Exceptional cuisine that is both inventive and traditional. Impeccable and warm service. Worth the detour from Giverny/Vernon (less than 20 minutes).

Well prepared, we had a great taste experience. Nice discovery of very well executed dishes, with very well chosen wines. The more people there are, the better the atmosphere will be. Go for it !
