Don’t be fooled by how the place looks when you walk in, this place is awesome
The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. He was on his own and managed to greet, tend bar, cook and wait on us. He struggled with English but did his best to make us feel comfortable
The food was fantastic, my daughters had the chicken and chips, whilst my wife and I had the beef bourguignon with mash which was amazing
The whole meal including drinks for 4 of us he only charged us 32 euros. Amazing value and an amazing experience
Great service, the couple that run this place are really friendly and understanding in the lack of our French speaking skills! Food was great, although ignore the menu outside as they do a daily menu with reduced options - i assume to keep things easy to cook. We had two course, starters and mains. And it cost 14 euros and with a pint of local lager 18 euros. Great little place and would recommend to try
