Quick coffee with my husband and grandchildren. Memory time for my husband who worked on Grand Armee. Pleasantly welcomed.

Very good bistro. Friendly boss and more than adequate cooking.

Very good (mention the homemade beef bourguignon dish) but close to a tourist spot, so always a little more expensive.

…And now I feel sick. Figured I’d try this place since I walk by it all the time. While their menu is extensive and the service was mostly solid, the prices were steep for the quality of the food and the ambience didn’t make up for it. I had herring filets, a cheese omelet, and a Viennese hot cocoa and of those, the side potatoes that came with the herring were the strongest. The omelet was fine, but not quite as good as the potatoes. As for the prices, given that the Arc de Triomph is within spitting distance, I can’t say I’m surprised, but I am a bit disappointed.
