L'écaillerie sur Marseille

Lovely food, drink and relaxed setting

We came straight to L'ecaillerie for lunch when we got off the plane to Marsielle and what a fantastic way to start our trip in the city! We had some fantastic house white wine which accompanied the tastiest seafood. We got the oysters and the prawn tartare and the fries to share. The prawn tartare with the prawn head oil was my favourite and my little tip would be to save the bread to mop up the sauce... incredible!! I also love when youre sat outside you can see everything picking their fruit and vegetables at the green grocers next door- so cute! Thank you so much for such a fabulous start to our trip and the tastiest food and great service!

One of the best places we ate in Marseille. Amazing fresh seafood, well-designed restaurant and really nice staff. Would definitely come back!
