Les Abeilles sur Belfort

A very good place run by a very welcoming family.

I've been eating here for several years now, whenever I'm in Belfort. I love this place. The atmosphere is lovely, the servers are friendly, and the food is always excellent!

A warm welcome despite the crowds. The asparagus was delicious. The setting was lovely too. A very enjoyable experience.

I've been three times in total. The first time was perfect. But the other two times disappointed me in terms of the attention paid to the food and the customers. The second time, I ordered rabbit with spaetzle: it felt like we were being served whatever was left over; the portion of spaetzle was really small, and I'm not even a big eater. We mentioned this to the staff when we paid, and they simply implied that 'that's how it is, that these were the planned quantities'—no gesture of goodwill, no consideration for the customer's feelings. The third time, I ordered a pork knuckle, remembering the one I had the first time: this time, there was no salad to accompany it, contrary to the menu which indicated a salad. It was Saturday lunchtime, so the restaurant was busy... but that shouldn't justify a drop in quality, especially if the product doesn't match the menu description, nor should it justify a price adjustment. Another issue with portion sizes? It's a shame because the desserts are very good.

For years I've walked under its porch, always decorated to welcome us and guide us to this promising place, "Les Abeilles" (The Bees). I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. You pull open the door, and behind the curtain... pure bliss. The staff is always smiling and pleasant, a cozy place to settle in for a few minutes or longer to savor a hot drink like a cappuccino, Viennese hot chocolate, freshly squeezed juice, beer, and pastries that delight our eyes behind their display case and tantalize our taste buds... I'm a devoted fan, go there... you'll only want to go back! ✨️💖

We enjoyed this restaurant some time ago, but today we were very disappointed by the small amount of food on the plate considering the price.

Dinner on Valentine's Day. The meal and service were very pleasant. They forgot to ask us what we wanted to drink during the meal. Otherwise, nothing to report.

A cozy place, delicious food, and impeccable service. Spending time at Les Abeilles guarantees we'll enjoy every moment to the fullest. We'll be back to try the other dishes on the menu.
