Delicious food, friendly and efficient service. The set menu (starter and main course) included homemade salmon rillettes (very flavorful), slow-cooked beef bourguignon, and steamed potatoes. For €16.50... A solid French meal. Worth remembering, as it's superior to the various exotic restaurants in the neighborhood. Yes, but my second visit was disappointing: a pork chop with mustard sauce, overcooked, tough, and the "sauce" was reduced to a small bowl of whole-grain mustard. Nothing like a sauce at all. Very disappointed. (Updated my first review!)

I booked this bar for my thesis defense party and I was completely satisfied. The food was excellent, they offered a wide variety of drinks, and the bartenders, in addition to being efficient, contributed to the overall atmosphere of the evening. The owner is courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this bistro-style bar.

We had a great time as a colleague. Warm atmosphere. The servers were kind, friendly, and professional. The quality and presentation of the dishes were reasonably priced. For starters, fried halloumi tzatziki, lentil salad, and for dessert, tiramisu. I recommend it.

The restaurant is quite nice, the staff is welcoming and attentive. The homemade dishes are decent, but not extraordinary. The dessert crepe arrived cold.

Great time, lovely people, good music, good atmosphere

We ate at August's for lunch in mid-August. We had a wonderful time. Even though I'm celiac, I was able to enjoy the tomato, burrata, and pomegranate salad. My son loved the l'île flottante dessert; he's tried it elsewhere in Normandy, but August's is very dark. We had a bit of a wait because the hot dishes were made fresh, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant is also popular with locals who come to play board games. I recommend it because it's truly excellent value compared to other, more expensive restaurants in Rouen, and it offers a family-friendly atmosphere. It's just a few minutes' walk from the central streets. Thank you for welcoming us from Italy.
