Les Bons Vivants sur Saint-Martin-Du-Vivier

This Lyon spot deserves a sixth star... The music, the drinks, the food, the service, the advice. Clearly the best find in the city. If you're looking for a place for bon vivants, trust the name. My only regret is not being able to go seven days a week. Special mention to the bartender, who is engaging and passionate, the product of his extensive experience, which he generously shares.

Super friendly service, so glad to have such great guidance with the wines! We really trusted them, and they answered intelligently, not at all in a pedantic way like you sometimes find elsewhere… Perhaps we would have liked a slightly more in-depth presentation of the wines? The only real downside: the music was a bit too loud. We'll be back soon!

An incredible bar, so incredible that I haven't discovered any other bar like it in Lyon. That might be its only flaw, actually; it lets you taste excellence, and everything else pales in comparison.

I was there last Friday night and it was absolutely delicious! The waiter was incredibly friendly and kind; I highly recommend it. P.S.: The wines he recommended were amazing, plus the gnocchi and burger were divine!

Delicious beer, friendly staff, and delicious salami! A great place for an aperitif!

A great spot, a little hidden away on the peninsula. They have a selection of local beers that changes regularly, and they make their own gin and tonic! The food is definitely worth it—very good and generous portions, not to mention the snacks to share, which are either homemade or locally sourced. Finally, the staff is very friendly and really tries to help you choose your drink. Looking forward to the expansion!

This isn't just a culinary experience, it's a human one! The place truly lives up to its name: vibrant! The owner is a charismatic person passionate about homemade food, Lyon, and family. He's also a wonderful blend of different cultures, which adds even more charm to the place. On his short menu, each dish is carefully chosen to showcase his best work, radiating his passion. A tomato sauce made by his mother that tastes of sunshine. The gnocchi made by his father that tastes heavenly. The sloppy joe is sublime! Thank you for this wonderful evening. We already fell in love with the city, and this only amplifies it. Don't hesitate to try his Chartreuse as a digestif. A delightful surprise!
