Les Capucines sur Le Petit-Quevilly

An explosion of flavor; everything was excellent. There's no comparison with any other gastronomic experience in Rouen.

Everything was perfect! A gourmet restaurant where the cuisine is refined and delicious. The welcome is warm and the staff attentive yet discreet. An excellent choice. A sure bet!

For a first time, I'm delighted. We celebrated my mother's birthday. The only downside was the cheese. There were no accompaniments like dried or candied fruit. But apart from that, it was delicious.

Fantastic experience! Impeccable service, delicious and elegant cuisine, and a reasonable price for the quality. A huge thank you, I highly recommend it.

My husband and I were unsure where to have dinner on a Saturday night when we called Les Capucines at 7:30 pm. We were given a reservation for 8:15 pm and had a wonderful meal. The sauces were exceptional (kudos to the sauce chef!), the service was perfect (and friendly), and the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner for two.

A mixed experience. We hadn't been back for about ten years and had very fond memories of both the food and the service. The cuisine is still as good and refined as ever. We chose the tasting menu with wine served by the glass, which was also very good. It was the service that disappointed us. The manager was very professional, but another waiter was primarily responsible for us. He was pleasant, but he only did the bare minimum. No water was offered. We constantly had to ask for more wine. The wine pouring was very inconsistent, even though there's a clearly marked line on the glass to ensure proper pouring. So, some glasses were full, others only half full... however, the bill still charged us the full price. We did mention this for the last glass and were subsequently refilled. I assume that for a restaurant of this caliber, this shouldn't happen and that the service should be impeccable (the same goes for his attire—dirty sneakers were surprising). Was he an extra? In short, the restaurant lives up to its reputation for excellent cuisine, but it's a shame the service didn't match. We'll still be back, though. Looking forward to it.

We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary at this restaurant, choosing from an 8-course tasting menu and a half-bottle of Gewurztraminer (2022, which I highly recommend). The welcome was warm, the service excellent, we have nothing to complain about, we will gladly return, everything was perfect 👍🏻

Average. We ordered the avocado/octopus appetizer, which was undercooked (difficult to cut!). The main course was served under a cloche, but the presentation was rather uninteresting. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. The desserts were excellent! The overall standard wasn't what we expected. A special mention goes to the pre-baked roll, straight from a supermarket... which has no place in a fine dining restaurant.

Top-notch restaurant. Refined and elegant. Perfect value for money.
