I love it 😍 the tea is very good and the cakes are delicious 😋. I love the decor. The two lovely ladies are extremely friendly. Beautiful view when you are on the terrace, quiet and cozy place. I highly recommend.

Friendly and smiling welcome, place with very British and cozy decor. Very beautiful terrace on the Gartempe. Scones and English cakes with a cup of tea!

On a warm, sunny evening, we enjoyed vegan friendly carrot cake cupcakes and a pot of delicious English tea with soya milk on their beautiful terrace with a gorgeous view. Kim and her staff are lovely and Kim's gorgeous cat is an added bonus. They are dog friendly, too, although the cat isn't...and who can blame him?

Exceptional, the scones are incredible, the view from the terrace is great. The house cat is very friendly. A tea time worthy of the best.

Le Duo des Merveilles

19/03/2024: We were on training and so in a hurry we told them to and we were served straight away, refined Portuguese cuisine. Impeccable reasonable price. We were on time for the resumption of the course. Recommended.
28/01/2024: We wanted a meal to warm us up, comforting...that's what we found in this small Portuguese restaurant, a little cold on the outside, but which turned out to be very welcoming. Everything is homemade, the dishes are copious, the service friendly, the little traditional music in the background... We had a good time with the family

Les Delices du Portugal

13/11/2023: Returning from a trip, we were pleasantly surprised by this Portuguese restaurant located in a business area, one of the only alternatives to the usual franchises. Behind a fairly vintage American diner decor, hides a good and very very generous Portuguese canteen, simple but effective! I chose the chef's delicious cod, served in a large dish filled with home-fried potatoes. You can't see the fish in the photo because it's covered in the sauce, but the piece was quite large! For dessert, I discovered bolo de bolacha, a cake made with biscuits, coffee and whipped cream. Only one server that evening, friendly and efficient.
07/11/2023: Very good... It's a shame that for a Portuguese restaurant, the portion of Cod is not larger on the plate.... Only regret. Think the Portuguese way, not the French way!!! Thank you 👍
