It’s an excellent hotel, the architecture, the decor, the service, the rooms, the bar. Excellent meal also at the Balbeck restaurant, take the turbot, so well prepared and served. Don't hesitate.

Very warm welcome from Sunday to Tuesday which allowed us to stay for a lower price in a pretty sea view room with a small balcony kindly offered by Kévin, one of the receptionists of the large hotel. The first dinner at the restaurant Le Balbec was also very good and very good advice from the sommelier and Jessica for the explanation of the dishes and flavors, the only small complaint was the portions were a little small especially for the gentlemen. On the other hand, the kindness, the welcome and the professionalism make this stay a nice interlude even at breakfast for those who like sweets, Proust's madeleines are present and if I may allow myself we were not looking for time lost but time regained, time beautifully suspended, captivated by the magic of the place, we hope to return as soon as possible. Mythical place, corridors remaining in the Proustian atmosphere, (rooms a little too "modernized") an experience to live and relive for any reader of Proust.

It is a beautiful hotel, well located and pleasant to live in. The breakfast is great, the staff very friendly and professional. On the other hand, with the name of the room Marcel Proust I did not understand that it was furnished in the "old style", a little sad in my taste, too bad for me I would change next time. A little surprised by the lack of friendliness at reception with only certain people. Also surprised with the responses from the bar to come and have lunch accompanied by my guests, 4 people. Their response was: no reservations possible or room service... for a 5 star it's curious so it's good to point out to you. Thank you for listening.
