Les Domaines Qui Montent sur Caen

Excellent whisky evening at Domaine qui Monte! We had the pleasure of tasting six magnificent whiskies, all perfectly presented and described. The meal was simply remarkable, worthy of a gourmet restaurant: salmon gravlax with lime and lemon accompanied by marinated black radish, lentil soup with a foie gras whisky cream, followed by a delicious dessert featuring citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit), mint, and whisky. I thoroughly enjoyed myself from beginning to end in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I also learned a great deal about whisky thanks to the fascinating explanations throughout the evening. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend and will gladly repeat!

A rather surprising place, a delightful blend of wine cellar and home-style local cuisine. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and his cooking is superb!
