Not having much time to cook, especially since our dishes aren't exactly quick meals, I sometimes have to go to restaurants to fill the void and rediscover the flavors of my country. This time, I stumbled upon this one. The menu is varied and includes almost all the classic Algerian dishes. I was very happy; the fries and omelet tasted exactly like the ones from my childhood, and the chlita was the same. The service is quick, but unfortunately, the hygiene leaves much to be desired. It's more like a small eatery with decent food than a proper restaurant. There's also a real lack of customer service. I asked for a doggy bag for my fries and omelet, and after waiting a few minutes to get it, the waiter told me it had been thrown away… lol. Without even offering to make me another one. Of course, I would have refused, but it's the thought that counts. Finally, considering the prices, it's perhaps understandable to some extent. Unfortunately, my tolerance for outdoor dining was reached yesterday with this experience. I still hope to see more places offering our authentic dishes without sacrificing hygiene and service.

Never disappointed, it's a direct ticket to Algiers: grilled meats, delicious lamb chorba, homemade fries, and keblouz for dessert (you never know if there's room left!), top-notch, and fast service too.

This is one of the restaurants where we just keep coming back to. It’s definitely an experience. We usually go when it’s not peak hours. It does get packed during those hours. Space is limited like all Parisian eateries usually are, so basically just grab a space where you can find it. You can select a fresh array of meats from the cooler as you enter the restaurant and they’ll grill it fresh for you. Additional you can order off the menu. The Chorba (chickpea soup) is good and comforting. The Viande or meat that’s cooked to melt in your mouth perfection is also good paired with mashed potatoes. We usually grab a salad from the fridge too. Bread and condiments upon request are served alongside the food. Very affordable and great food. A must try if you’re in the area. A great way to experience authentic Algerian cuisine.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere! We had delicious couscous and tagine! The mechouia salad was also incredible. The food is plentiful and very good.

If you miss home, go eat there – it's a pure delight.
