I'll start with the elephant in the room. We had trout tartare and pork ribs for lunch. The wait was so long we wondered if the chef had actually gone trout fishing... Almost an hour's wait before we could even taste the appetizer is frankly ridiculous... We decided to skip dessert.
Otherwise, the service was efficient and the food was excellent. Delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, and slightly original yet well-balanced flavors.

The meal was good, but there was one drawback: the amount of potatoes served with the pork ribs was ridiculously small: one tiny potato cut into eight pieces! A dish that cost 26 euros, nonetheless.

While passing through La Gacilly, we enjoyed the food on offer. The service was pleasant; however, we were disappointed by the manager's lack of consideration for his employees in front of customers.

We hadn't been back to this restaurant since 2022. We were surprised by the prices, which have increased more than elsewhere, without any justification for the quality, which is decent but unremarkable. The setting is still very pleasant, and the service, which was adequate at first, became increasingly slow. From the main course onwards, we felt a bit abandoned, perhaps due to end-of-season fatigue. The bowl of water for the dog, offered at the beginning of the meal, never arrived, and the dessert arrived rather hastily.

The place is always very pleasant, and the starter (burratina and watermelon tataki) was very good, with a special mention for the tataki, which was amazing. However, we were very disappointed with the main courses. The Caesar salad was extremely salty, which is a real shame. We emptied the carafe of water, and a second one would have been welcome, but despite our repeated requests, we were unable to get it.

We had a wonderful time, shared with my children. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and responsive, the service was attentive, and the food was a real treat, featuring seasonal produce and impeccable presentation.

We had lunch as a couple today (August 27th) without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed efficient and friendly service. We opted for the Discovery menu (I believe). The entire meal (starter, main course, and dessert) was excellent (very well prepared, you can tell they have a real professional touch).
I recommend it, provided you're willing to pay the price (which is understandable). Well done and thank you.
