We had been wandering around L'Isle-sur-Serein and had left it rather late to look for lunch for three; however, when we entered we asked the lady serving the tables (i think she was the chef's partner) and she shouted through to the chef/patron in the kitchen 'is it too late ?'.
Luckily, he said it was not and we enjoyed a well cooked reasonable priced meal of Steak Haché, followed by Ice Cream and Coffee; all served with a smiling and friendly personality.
