Marseille's hidden gem! You absolutely have to stop by!!! Fresh fish, an incredible atmosphere with JUL playing in your ears!! Everything you could want

The setting is great, the atmosphere is nice, but the prices… this is a place where there is NO service: you take your cutlery, water, salt/pepper, and retrieve your food with a pager… the setting would justify these prices WITH service, but without it, it's unjustifiable. Almost €20 for a pasta dish, €17 for a Lebanese platter, but the worst part is the bar where politeness is optional for one of the bartenders (no greeting). A glass of homemade iced tea costs €4.50 without service (!!), and of course, €4 for a soda, not to mention the cocktails. Again, we're talking about prices without service. In short, it's fine for large groups who don't care about their budget and can't agree on what to eat. Otherwise, go to any other restaurant nearby on this beautiful square: the price is more reasonable with waiters.

Nice place, de restaurants are better than others. The bar and wine shop were great, Sardine wasn’t exceptional especially that the owner was a very difficult person and not welcoming. The seafood shop was a bit disappointing as the quality wasn’t up to standard. Haven’t tried others but still the experience was worth it

Nice terrace. Counter service. Quite a variety and rather inexpensive. Fresh fish from the fishmonger. Very good fish and chips. Really very good. A pleasant surprise on the Place aux Huiles.
