I find it surprising that a hotel establishment, especially one of the Mercure standard, can no longer serve dinner after 10:30 pm in a city as touristy as Avignon, in the middle of summer, on a Friday night!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at the lovely Les Gustaves restaurant. The cuisine was refined. A special mention goes to the waiters on Saturday evening, June 20th; they were professional and attentive. We would like to commend them because, in addition to the chef's excellent cuisine, we enjoyed a pleasant and generous meal. We will gladly return.

It was a wonderful evening at Les Gustaves!
The service and advice from Raphael were outstanding. The food was very, very good – fresh market cuisine with regional dishes.
Afterwards, we had a nightcap at the bar, served by the charming Anais.
Next time we're in Avignon, we'll definitely stay at the Mercure again.
