Les Mélèzes sur La Morte

02/03/2026: We took a short stroll around the resort and relied on online reviews. It was winter, so there were no outdoor amenities, but even so, for a late February day, we were able to eat on the terrace, which was very pleasant. We always make a point of booking by phone or in person. This allows us to choose our table, avoid arriving last, and get the best spot—something you can't find anywhere else. The manager had reserved a table for us in the sun with the headrest in the shade. It was a very thoughtful touch. The selection wasn't huge, but it's much better than having 20 options where absolutely everything is frozen. The two people running the place are very friendly but don't let themselves be taken advantage of, which I think is perfectly legitimate. Paying doesn't give you free rein. In small resorts or villages, whether touristy or not, without this kind of business, it's the death of the village. It is certainly not in this type of establishment that one can make a fortune, but they are the ones that keep a locality alive.

10/02/2026: The managers were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing impeccable service. The meal reflected this excellent service: generous portions and delicious food! I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will definitely return. Thank you!
