I don't have fond memories of the food, but that was a long time ago, so it might have improved since then. The service was mediocre.

And what is the reason for your complaint, please? Is it because I left a 3-star review, which is far from mediocre? Because you want to censor all reviews after a certain date or beyond a certain number of stars that suits you?
Besides, yes, I have left other reviews for restaurants I frequent in the area, some very complimentary. What's the problem with that? What is your issue?
In any case, please know that this doesn't make me want to return to your establishment, so I will stick with my trusted favorites in the area and elsewhere.

At the foot of Vincennes Castle, a wide selection of drinks (happy hour in the late afternoon), platters for snacking, and dishes for all ages. All this with a friendly team and a pleasant setting. I recommend it 👍

A must-visit! Every time we're in Paris (we're from Montpellier), we always make sure to stop by for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or an aperitif! The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly attentive. A huge thank you! 🙏

We stopped for just a coffee and had some really lovely food!
I went for the baked Camembert, came with a generous portion of garlic sautéed potatoes, loads of ham and two nice crispy pieces for toast! We got a separate portion of chips and wished we’d taken up the offer of changing the chips for the potatoes, when a huge bowl of (very nice) chips arrived!! Along with some, un asked for mayo, because it’s ‘home made and goes well with the chips’!!
Coffee was good too
Waiter was very friendly and attentive, and thankfully spoke English (my French is very poor🥲)
Shame it’s a 20min hike from our hotel, as I’d happily visit again!!

Our first experience at this friendly brasserie was quite successful. A warm welcome, relatively quick service, and good food all contributed to making this brasserie a pleasant place. There was clearly a clientele of regulars, a detail that confirmed the very positive impression we had.
