Les Petits Plats sur Cavaillon

Intrigued by the unassuming storefront, I figured it's often the unassuming restaurants that hold the best surprises… and I wasn't wrong! I had lunch there today with my brother and sister, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The dishes were truly delicious, prepared with care, and above all, it was a pleasure to find a real restaurant where you can tell the food is homemade. It's becoming increasingly rare, so when you find one, it deserves to be highlighted. The welcome was absolutely perfect: warm, attentive, and with a smile. A big thank you also to the entire team who were very accommodating to my schedule, as I absolutely had to be back for my nursing appointment. This thoughtfulness and kindness truly made all the difference. An excellent place that I recommend without hesitation. We will definitely be back!

While visiting Cavaillon, we were looking for a hidden gem for lunch after exploring the town's lovely market. This restaurant is truly surprising. We highly recommend it for its excellent cuisine. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed it! Unusual recipes and fresh ingredients. Reading the reviews, we certainly recognized ourselves in the friendly atmosphere and the staff, but also in the "chef's criticisms." During our meal, he constantly criticized the other customers and the waitress (perhaps he thought he was putting on a show to liven up a rather empty restaurant 🤷‍♀️). And quite a few dishes were missing for a Monday lunchtime... In any case, we highly recommend you go (we're still drooling over it).

We had a wonderful experience at Les Petits Plats. They were one of the few places open late on a Monday, and from the outside the restaurant looked nearly closed, like much of the town that evening. The folks sitting outside offered us the table in front of them and the evening really began. The chef was witty, charming, and absolutely hilarious throughout the evening. And most importantly, he can truly cook. We enjoyed an outstanding three-course meal at one of the most reasonable prices we encountered anywhere in France. Every course was excellent, from the fresh salads to the perfectly prepared fish and chicken dishes. I cannot recommend Les Petits Plats highly enough. You’ll have a memorable evening, eat exceptionally well, and leave happy, full, and smiling.
