Les Petits Plats sur Cavaillon

We had a wonderful experience at Les Petits Plats. They were one of the few places open late on a Monday, and from the outside the restaurant looked nearly closed, like much of the town that evening. The folks sitting outside offered us the table in front of them and the evening really began. The chef was witty, charming, and absolutely hilarious throughout the evening. And most importantly, he can truly cook. We enjoyed an outstanding three-course meal at one of the most reasonable prices we encountered anywhere in France. Every course was excellent, from the fresh salads to the perfectly prepared fish and chicken dishes. I cannot recommend Les Petits Plats highly enough. You’ll have a memorable evening, eat exceptionally well, and leave happy, full, and smiling.

Super welcoming and very good food

We stopped on our way to our holiday destination on a Monday when most restaurants were closed. We almost resigned ourselves to going to McDonald's, but luckily, we found "Les Petits Plats." The food was generous, delicious, and the price unbeatable. We had a very pleasant time; everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference. I highly recommend it!

We received a particularly warm welcome from the owner, who offered us fresh, high-quality products cooked to order. He even offered to adapt his menus to suit our preferences. The lunchtime set menus were also available in the evening. His menu is quite extensive, offering dishes for all tastes: meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Everything was delicious, including crispy homemade fries, which are so rare these days. Even our daughter, who wasn't hungry, ordered a goat cheese salad with honey AND an exquisite apricot tart. We had a very pleasant chat with the owner-chef. A GAULT & MILLAU 2024-2025 award is displayed in the window. It's well deserved. The dining room isn't large, but as soon as the sun comes out, there's the terrace. Absolutely go! Excellent value for money! Thank you, Mr. Stéphan PINAUD, for being there!

I highly recommend this unassuming restaurant that's well worth a visit. My friend and I stumbled upon it while looking for a place to eat, decided to try it, and we weren't disappointed. The welcome was warm, the owners are very funny, kind, and friendly, and the meal was generous and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Dinner last Saturday (there were three of us). A very good place, generous portions and good food! I'll be back.
