Les Platanes sur Aramon

Oh, the plane trees are great, and the owner, Gorges, knows how to create a good atmosphere. I recommend it.

The owners are fantastic, very warm and welcoming. The room is spacious. One small drawback: the television doesn't have apps like Netflix or Disney+, which would have allowed us to watch our favorite series. 😅

We booked this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. A warm welcome, a room and location conducive to sleep and well-being. Very friendly hotel owners. Don't hesitate, stop by, you won't regret it.

AAramon, a magnificent village, boasts architecture that's well worth a visit, both medieval and with the marks of time on its streets, where history and architecture take us on a journey through the ages, from the early centuries to the creation of the Palace of the Popes. As I walk, I ask the locals where I can find a good place to eat. They suggest a pizzeria, a bakery, sandwich shops, and then tell me to go to Les Platanes, the entrance to the town, on the road to Avignon. It's a restaurant, a former inn. I arrive. Large parking lot, a giant building, a former inn, large terrace, warm welcome, I'm served, it's almost 2:01 pm (Aioli, it's Friday, I feel like I'm in Provence, and what a great place it is!). It's busy, the food is clean and respectful, everything is good. In the evenings there's music, on weekends you can find DJs or small bands. I highly recommend it; the servers are super friendly and the owner loves motorcycles, they're hardworking and respectful of customers. It's a pleasure.

Good food, pleasant setting, and more than adequate service.

This is the kind of place you want to keep secret… we arrived late Monday afternoon… all the restaurants in the village were closed, but the owners had prepared a meal for us! And what a meal it was! So many delicious ingredients, and a warm, family atmosphere that we absolutely loved! We'll be back in peak season to enjoy the terrace under the lanterns and the festive, musical ambiance. A huge thank you to Georges and Nadège for their warm welcome!
