L'Es Pratx restaurant et salle sur Ginestas

We just had our wedding here in mid July and it was perfect! The Chateau is a spectacular backdrop to a whole weekend of celebrations. If you’re looking for someplace private and beautiful for your wedding, with lots of charm, this is the place. If the Chateau itself doesn’t sell you, the family that owns and runs it should. Luke and Lily are phenomenal, Sasha is amazing with the flowers, and Tim is always greeting us with a smile and happy to share some building history. They run the place so well and are the perfect level of helpful, while providing advice and suggestions but also allowing us to make all decisions that we wanted and having our own ideas. All preparations and planning done ahead of time by Luke and Lily made the weekend easy and exactly what we wanted. The flowers, food, decor, accommodation, and chateau itself are lovely. Every staff member we encountered over the stay was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fantastic, as well. We don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this beautiful place. If we had to do this all over again, we wouldn’t change any of it, and our guests agreed! Thank you so much!

I found the venue through a website that listed chateaus in France. Without knowing the town or even having been to France before, my husband and I took a chance on the charming Chateau du Puits Es Pratx. We were in constant communication with Luke before making the decision, and he answered our many many questions. Luke was very transparent about all the wedding planning details and even gave us a virtual tour. To our surprise, the Chateau was already fully booked for almost two years! In August 2024 we booked our May 2026 wedding date. Since then, Luke handed the planning to Lily. Lily gave us an initial timeline of what needed to be decided on, as well as a cost sheet so we could keep track of our budget. She kept in contact with us throughout our engagement, but it wasn't until January 2026 when we were full steam ahead on planning. The following four months were crazy (as expected with any wedding) but always organized and full of transparency. Lily humored all my unconventional requests and responded to every thought and e-mail. The peak of our planning happened alongside Lily having a baby, and she absolutely did not miss a beat. Unlike a lot of newly engaged couples, we did not physically see the venue or taste the menus before arriving for our wedding weekend(we're based in New Orleans). BUT, when we did arrive the Thursday before our wedding, I was in awe. Ginestas is about a 20 minute drive from Narbonne with no traffic. The drive itself was beautiful with vineyards and poppies lining the road. We were warned beforehand that transportation would be somewhat difficult and/or expensive to and from Narbonne. Luckily, Luke and Lily helped us prearrange transportation for the entire weekend for all 55 of our guests. The grounds itself felt like a movie set; so charming and well manicured. Pictures do not do it justice at all. All of our guests felt the same upon arrival. Also, when each of our guests arrived, Luke and chateau staff were so kind and organized to check everyone in. A lot of the rooms were redone recently so it was nice and updated. The wedding suite was nice and comfortable. The food. The food needs it's own separate review, honestly. Though I didn't get to eat a lot, as most brides regret, the food I did have was AMAZING. I was told constantly by our guests that the food was excellent. This was one of the things we were worried about since we weren't visiting before our wedding. We read previous reviews that raved about the food, but we were still a little doubtful. We were also worried about the quantity and serving sizes. As Americans, we definitely love our big servings. As New Orleanians, we have high standards for food. I also had family from the Philippines, and Filipinos can eat. The chateau definitely satisfied EVERYONE. From my husband's giant, multi-serving friends to my food editor cousin and my food appreciating aunts, to my shellfish allergic guests. Every one of our guests loved the food. I can't say anything about the shoulder meals but we did have breakfast everyday and it was great. There are only 2 restaurants in the nearby town, so I would recommend getting the extra meals. Also, get the duck. The Chateau really functioned like a well-oiled machine. It was really organized and you can tell they specialize in weddings. Luke and Lily both acted as our day of coordinators and they really helped with the flow of the day. The staff were also so nice, welcoming and professional. We especially liked Laurent, the groundskeeper. He was so friendly and he put my nerves at ease when we thought it might rain. My favorite thing about our wedding were the flowers. I sent Lily very specific flowers and inspiration images that weren't in their repertoire at the time, and I was a little nervous about the execution. Sasha outdid herself. We got so many compliments about the flower arrangements and they really nailed the vision. I'm positive I'm forgetting something, but I can't speak highly enough of Chateau du Puits Es Pratx as a wedding venue and in general. I would love to visit again!

I have been to many weddings in many countries and this venue would easily be in the top tier! Everything is 100% proffesional and the mgt and their team are amazing and managing every aspect of the three day festivities ! From the flowers to the food everything is exceedingly perfect! The courtyard is stunning!

I was privileged to officiate at a family wedding so had experience of this venue as both a guest (for 4 days) and somewhat of the organisation. The service provided by Luke and the rest of the team was absolutely outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is beautiful and a testament to how impeccably it is run. I had experienced a difficult issue before arriving at the chateau but the fantastic staff there went above and beyond to help me, even though it was nothing to do with the wedding. The difference their care and effort made was truly wonderful and I can't express how much I appreciate it. Given my experience as a guest (at a gorgeous, memorable wedding), I have no doubt they apply that same care and attention to all of their guests. You could not chose a better location for your wedding. Thank you everyone at the Chateau.

Went to my best friend’s wedding here and it was lovely. Beautiful setting, nice staff, tidy rooms. Only thing I would have them add is more variety of beer and cider they only had the local beer and ended up being quite heavy with the hot weather.

We had our wedding at Château du Puits es Pratx in April 2026, and it was truly one of the best decisions we have ever made. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible, and it’s hard to put into words just how much fun we (and all of our guests) had. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The château, courtyard, vineyards, and gardens create the kind of setting that feels straight out of a movie. Every corner is beautiful, and it makes the whole weekend feel relaxed but still incredibly special. We loved how the spaces flowed, from outdoor gatherings in the courtyard to drinks and dancing in the wine barn, which made the entire celebration feel natural and effortless. What really makes this place exceptional, though, is the team. Lily, Luke, and the entire staff are unbelievable. From the beginning, planning a destination wedding could have been stressful, but they made everything feel easy and organized. They were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Multiple reviews talk about how smooth and stress-free the planning process is, and we can absolutely confirm that was our experience too. During the wedding weekend itself, the staff went above and beyond in every way. They are incredibly warm, attentive, and somehow manage to make every guest feel at home. Many people say the team treats you like family, and that is exactly how it felt. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. The food and wine were also a huge highlight. Every meal throughout the weekend was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared, and our guests are still talking about it. The overall level of detail, from the meals to the décor, was just outstanding. One of the best parts of the experience was that it wasn’t just a single wedding day, it was a full weekend celebration. Being able to stay on-site with our friends and family, spend time by the pool, and enjoy multiple events together made it feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience rather than just a single event. We honestly had the most fun we could have imagined. Everything felt effortless, joyful, and perfectly taken care of, which allowed us to be fully present and just enjoy the time with our favorite people. If you’re considering Château du Puits es Pratx for your wedding: do it!!! We would choose it again in a heartbeat and wouldn’t change a single thing. The most incredible wedding weekend! We could not have wished for a better venue to host our wedding. Luke, Lily, Tim, Sasha and the whole team have truly created the most magical wedding venue. The attention to detail and care from day one blew us away, nothing was too much trouble. The food all weekend was to die for! Highly recommend the family style option, our guests loved trying a bit of everything. And the winds was some of the best we have tried! The rooms have been renovated beautifully and the bridal suite honestly made you feel like a princess getting ready. And how can we not mention the gorgeous flowers created by Sasha, walking into her workshop was a wonderful experience and you felt you how much love and care she put into the flowers, the venue is already beautiful but on the wedding day with flowers filling the courtyard it felt like a movie scene. If you are looking for a wedding venue that can do it all, then this is the place. The best decision we ever made was booking the chateau ❤️❤️
