For our second visit to the Tavern, we once again had a great time. A somewhat long service, compensated by a very pleasant, warm welcome, and the staff who take great care of customers; without forgetting fresh, quality products!

We didn't know about it, we hadn't read the reviews and we were pleasantly surprised. Two fish and chips ordered, well prepared and plentiful. We continued with two desserts, same observation. We will return, hoping that the quality and quantity remain the same.

There was only one dish on the menu for me - pork knuckle braised in Honey! Everything else faded into the background apart from the service. My wife had a hankering for kidneys as a starter - they happily obliged. Would go back in an instant no matter where I was staying in Caen.

Je ne recommande pas cet établissement ! Ils ne savent pas faire le cafe noisette ! Mettre du lait froid ! Forcément dans une petite tasse le tout est très tiède.. voir froid ! Et les cafés préparés qui restent sur le comptoir trop longtemps également!!

08/09/2024: Heerlijk gegeten, vers, veel groente, lekkere vis. Uitstekende bediening. Dessert was ook super en de wijn ook. Niets op aan te merken. Leuk ingericht. Ligt aan authentiek oud pleintje.
06/06/2024: Restaurante donde te tratan bien y se come bien en el centro de caen. A destacar las setas, la hamburguesa con camembert y el tiramisu. Recomendable
