Most of us ordered steak and fries. The fries were frozen but cooked fairly well, and the steak was decent, but nothing special. The peppercorn sauce was very good, but the morel sauce had no morels…
For dessert, we ordered Paris-Brest pastries (supposedly the restaurant's best-seller). The choux pastry wasn't bad, but the cream inside was really poor and far too dense. The profiteroles weren't too bad, but the chocolate sauce was cold and there was no whipped cream. The vanilla ice cream was really not great.
On the other hand, the service was very pleasant and the welcome was excellent. The prices, however, are a bit high.

A must-visit brasserie in Laval. The exterior doesn't hint at the size of the establishment, which also offers more intimate dining rooms. Generous and delicious dishes. Efficient service. The Royal Sauerkraut...truly royal.

Beautiful and good restaurant.
Generous portions.
I had the duck breast, which was delicious.
I wasn't as keen on the "macao" dessert; it seemed to me it needed more custard, but otherwise, everything else was perfect.
Reasonable prices and not too noisy.

We came on the evening of February 14th, and luckily we had a reservation because the restaurant was packed. We wanted to thank you for the excellent experience we had at your establishment. The welcome was particularly warm and professional, a welcome change from the usual "grand restaurant on Place du 11 Novembre." The food was of high quality and completely satisfied us. We would also like to highlight the kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness of our waitress, Léa, who greatly contributed to the success of our meal. We will certainly recommend your restaurant and look forward to returning.

Lots of choices on the menu, reasonable prices, pleasant service.
A bit of a wait on a Sunday at 1 p.m. It's a shame it's a little noisy.
Tip: book a table in advance.
