We came on a weekday evening, no wait, friendly welcome.
My partner, as always, had the seafood sauerkraut, which was very good, and I had the cod casserole, which was also very good.
The only downside was the waiter! He was cold, unfriendly, and not very helpful.

A must-visit in Laval. The owners are serious, dedicated, and refreshingly down-to-earth.
Every meal with friends feels like a family gathering. With a highly competent team from the front of house to the kitchen, there's nothing to complain about.

I rarely leave reviews, but tonight my boyfriend and I tried the tavern in Laval for the first time and we were particularly impressed! We received a very warm welcome and were served wonderfully with smiles and friendliness. The dishes were very good and generous for the price, hot, and served quickly. We hardly waited at all, and the flow of courses was very smooth. After hearing some negative reviews, we don't regret trying it ourselves. Kudos to the professionalism of the service as well; I highly recommend it and we will gladly return!
