It's always a pleasure to return to the tavern. Admittedly, I preferred the tavern atmosphere with the waiters dressed as Bavarians; it was more fun. But we were served by young people who knew their jobs and were very pleasant and smiling. 24/7 service would be much appreciated, but that was before... alas.

We have absolutely no complaints about our evening at your restaurant on January 23, 2026, for my partner's birthday. The welcome and service from your staff were impeccable. The little touch to celebrate my partner's birthday touched her deeply. Thank you all, and we hope to see you again soon.

The food has improved somewhat. The service was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, and there were no towels in the restrooms. Good value for money.

We were a table of eight this Sunday. The food was very good; there was no complaint about the quality of the dishes themselves. However, the overall experience was severely marred by a serious problem with organization and timing. We waited a very long time before being served, and when the dishes finally arrived, the first seven were served lukewarm, or even cold. The vegetarian dish, served first, was practically cold. The eighth course, sauerkraut, only arrived after we had already started eating, for fear of it being cold, despite two reminders. The same thing happened with the extra garnish for the sauerkraut, which we requested several times. There was therefore a real delay in the service of the dishes, which is very regrettable for a table meant to be sharing a meal together. The explanation given—the presence of many large tables—does not seem satisfactory to us: accepting large tables implies being able to serve the guests simultaneously and with hot dishes. The servers were numerous and consistently very friendly, which we would like to emphasize. However, there seemed to be a lack of clear organization of the seating areas: requests had to be repeated to different servers, without any guarantee that they would actually be addressed, which contributed to a feeling of disorganization. When paying, we were offered a complimentary digestif as compensation, but since it was served to all tables, we didn't consider it a special gesture and politely declined. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the wait time throughout the meal. The waitresses did their best and tried to pass on our comments, but it seems to us that the problem stemmed more from the overall organization than from the kitchen itself. Despite the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, this experience does not encourage us to return. It should be noted that, without having mentioned it during our visit, our table included a chef de partie currently working as well as a retired head chef, which explains our particular sensitivity to these issues of organization and service.

The establishment is very well located and pleasant, the food is very respectable, the meat is of good quality and the sauerkraut is excellent. The service is a little slow.

I had the seafood sauerkraut. It was good, but I found the whole dish too salty, including the sauerkraut itself. The team should retaste the dishes and adjust the salting level, in my opinion. When a dish is too salty, the natural flavor of the food is altered.

The oysters were incredibly fresh... The scallops and dessert were equally delicious... And all this in an atmosphere with impeccable service... I'll definitely be back... Thank you for your hospitality... see you very soon.

My husband was disappointed by the atmosphere and the service. We were asked for the same thing several times without ever receiving what we asked for. As for the food, it was very good and plentiful, but the parsley potatoes were too greasy.
